Michael Müller wird neuer CEO der Helvetica Property Investors AG
Zurich, September 5, 2019 – The Board of Directors of Helvetica Property Investors AG (Helvetica) has appointed Michael Müller as its new CEO Switzerland. He will succeed Hans R. Holdener in January 2020.
Hans R. Holdener, founding partner and long-standing CEO of Helvetica Property Investors AG, has decided to put the operational management of the successful Real Estate Fund and Asset Management platform in new hands and will instead play a role on the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee , Hans R. Holdener founded Helvetica Property Investors AG 13 years ago as a novelty in the Swiss real estate market. Today, the company is one of the most successful companies of its kind and is the preferred partner for direct and indirect real estate investments.
As of January 1, 2020, Hans R. Holdener’s role as CEO will be taken over by the proven industry expert Michael Müller. In a comprehensive selection process, the Board of Directors came to the conclusion that, thanks to his convincing personality and his comprehensive track record in the real estate industry, Michael Müller is the ideal person to fill this position.

New residential fund in planning
With the help of experienced real estate expert Markus Killer, Michael Müller, the new CEO, will also drive expansion into the residential investment business. The first activity is to launch a new residential fund soon.

Reorganization of the Executive Board
With regard to the change of management, the management will reorganize. The Acquisition and Sales and Asset Management divisions will be merged into the newly created Investment Management division, led by Frederic Königsegg as Chief Investment Officer. In future, the Executive Board will be made up of CEO Michael Müller, CIO Frederic Königsegg and CFO Peter R. Vogel.
In order to make the company even more effective, Helvetica Property Investors AG is now establishing an extended management team. She will be joined by Helvetica’s new Head Asset Management, Lucas Schlageter (formerly Swisscanto) on November 1, and Salman Baday, now Head of Sales Switzerland. The long-standing Head of Asset Management Hans Peter Wasser will take over the management of important special projects in the future.
